Cahillton Vineyard - Yarra Valley
The Cahillton Vineyard is located in the picturesque, rolling hills of the Yarra Valley, alongside such famous vineyards as Yarra Yering and Coldstream Hills. The area has earned a reputation for producing some of the finest wines in the Yarra Valley.
The Yarra Valley was selected for the initial vineyard development by Stuart Wines for the outstanding cool climate wines produced in the area. The temperate climate and soils in the Yarra Valley allow grapes to ripen fully but with excellent natural acid balance. Wines of outstanding varietal and elegance are a hallmark of the region.

1999 saw the first planting of 23 hectares of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The first vintage occurred in 2001, with wines made in a small winery on the property. The 2002 and 2003 vintages were also made in the Yarra Valley, but from 2004 the wines have been made at the White Box winery.
The vineyards have been expanded to 65 hectares, with additional plantings of existing varieties as well as Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Meunier, Sangiovese, Mataro, Pinot Gris and Viognier.
